After an award-winning 30 year career in film & television, hair & make up designer and Artist to the stars – Vanessa Hurley, aka LADY BARBER is offering haircuts for ladies, gents & kids.
Returning to her country roots, Vanessa blends her high-flying past with the laid-back, down-to-earth vibe of Matakana. She describes herself as a little bit country and a little bit rock ‘n roll, and that’s exactly what you’ll get when you sit in her chair—a perfect mix of precision, style, and personality.

Nestled in the Matakana Country Park, next to Smiths Bar, surrounding stables and home to rock concerts. The park’s reputation as a summer outdoor music venue has seen international artists such as Pat Benatar, Lynard Skynard, Brian Adams, and Kiwi music legend Dave Dobbyn.
